PURPOSE OF MEASURE

The measure for the remedy of consequences due to natural disasters is intended to provide national aid payments to those injured parties who meet the criteria for the allocation of national aid provided for elimination of the natural disasters consequences. Hereby, the fastest possible elimination of consequences and the restitution of previous conditions are facilitated.

BENEFICIARIES

Beneficiaries of payments for the elimination of consequences due to damage in agriculture are natural and legal persons who meet the criteria. 

AMOUNT OF ALLOCATED FUNDS AND INSURANCE

A beneficiary is allocated the funds in the following amount:

• max. 40% of the assessed direct damage verified by the Commission for elimination of damage consequences in agriculture for crops not insured for damage in agriculture due to natural disasters, and
• max. 60% of the assessed damage verified by the Commission for elimination of damage consequences in agriculture for crops insured for damage in agriculture due to natural disasters.

HOW TO OBTAIN FUNDS

A beneficiary is allocated the funds for elimination of natural disasters consequences on the basis of an application that has to be completed with the data on damage in agricultural production and sent to the municipal Commission for collection of applications, in the municipality of his/her agricultural area location. Following the receipt and processing of applications, the AAMRD issues decisions on the allocation of national aid to individual beneficiaries.
