PURPOSE AND MEASURES

The Guidance Section of the European Agricultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund (EAGGF) provides beneficiaries with the non-returnable funds to improve competitiveness of the agricultural and food section.

Five measures are being implemented within 3rd priority tasks of the Single Programming Document RS 2004-2006:

• Improvement of processing and promotion of agricultural products
• Investments in agricultural holdings
• Diversification of agricultural and related activities (alternative source of income)
• Investments in forests to improve economic and ecological value of forests
• Marketing of quality agricultural and food products 
• Beekeeping
