Holder of the measure: Rural Development Section

PURPOSE

Grants intended to help young farmers to take over farms are to partially cover the costs arising from taking over a farm by a young farmer on the basis of a deed of gift.

BENEFICIARIES

Applications can be lodged by farms that are classified as small and medium-sized companies except for pasture communities and agricultural communities performing agricultural activities in line with the principles of good agricultural practice in the territory of the Republic of Slovenia that also satisfy the prescribed conditions.

HOW TO OBTAIN FUNDS

A holder of an agricultural holding prepares and lodges an application to obtain grants in line with the provisions in the invitation to tender and in compliance with the tender documentation. The opening of a procedure to tender is announced in the Official Journal and on the website of the AAMRD.

The applicant must lodge the application using a prescribed form that is a constituent part of the tender documentation. The mail must be sent by registered mail to the address of the Agency of RS for Agricultural Markets and Rural Development and be sent and marked in compliance with the invitation to tender.
