Holder of the measure: Rural Development Section

PURPOSE

Grants are intended for co-financing the activities performed by non-profit making groups of farmers and other non-profit making associations, registered in the territory of the Republic of Slovenia, providing the assistance in the implementation of professional events, providing information in the field and other forms of training for farmers.  

Eligible costs are as follows:

• Costs of adequate infrastructure for the performance of activities (rent of premises, purchase of equipment),
• Material costs and labour costs (relating to offices and bodies),
• Costs of membership fees in international organizations,
• Costs related to education and training of members (rent of premises, fees of lecturers, material costs related to the implementation of education),
• Costs related to the presentation of association’s activities (material costs of presentation at fairs, organization of demonstrations and exhibitions, preparation and transfer of materials for the presentation). 

BENEFICIARIES  

Legal persons established in compliance with the rules regulating societies that are registered and operating in the territory of the Republic of Slovenia: societies, associations of societies and associations in the field of agriculture and activities related to agriculture, are entitled to these funds.

HOW TO OBTAIN FUNDS

The applicant submits a tender on the basis of the invitation to tender and in compliance with the tender documentation. The opening of a procedure to tender is announced in the Official Journal and on the website of the AAMRD.

Applications must be sent by registered mail to the address: Agency of RS for Agricultural Markets and Rural Development until the date set out in the invitation to tender. Written applications need to be submitted in sealed envelopes and must be marked in compliance with the invitation to tender.

Co-financing is provided on the basis of an application, fulfilment of the conditions in the invitation to tender and on the basis of the decree.
