PURPOSE

 

The purpose of the implementation of the market information system for the fresh fruit and vegetables market is to establish the system of reporting to the European Commission. The market price serves as the basis for the implementation of market policy in the field of fruit and vegetable cultivation.

 

The AAMRD monitors the trends of sold quantities and price of fresh fruit of the Slovenian geographic origin, and the quantities and price of fresh fruit and vegetables from non-EU countries.

 

LEGAL BASIS 

 

The basis for the implementation of the market information system for the wine market is Slovenian as well as EU legislation specifying detailed rules of implementation.
