PURPOSE OF THE MEASURE
The measure »Supply of food from intervention stocks for the benefit of the most deprived persons in the Community« is a measure of market-price agricultural policy. The purpose of the measure is to provide additional help to the socially most deprived persons in Slovenia; this help is in the form of food, i.e. the distribution of processed products from intervention stocks.
BENEFICIARIES
Beneficiaries entitled to aid are charity organisations in Slovenia that:
Have a status of a humanitarian organisation; Have a network established to distribute food at a local level; Have suitable premises and volunteers for distributing packages, goods and meals and can provide transport; Have procedures in place to ensure traceability of the quantities of food distributed and the entitlement of recipients; Keep accounts; Fulfil all the detailed conditions determined in the invitation to tender.
THE MOST DEPRIVED PERSONS are natural persons, individuals and families or groups that are formed by these persons and whose state of social and financial dependency has been established and recognised on the basis of criteria concerning the fulfilment of conditions adopted by competent authorities or are based on the criteria of charity organisations, confirmed by competent authorities.
