PURPOSE OF THE MEASURE

Reimbursement for the supply of milk and certain milk products to educational establishments is a specific measure of agricultural market price policy. The measure is intended to increase the use of milk and certain milk products produced from cow milk on the EU territory.

The measure enables educational establishments and/or schools to purchase milk and certain milk products at a reduced price. The products can be exclusively used for children consumption or the consumption of pupils within educational institutions.

BENEFICIARIES

Pupils who regularly attend instructions in educational, training and other pre-school institutions, primary schools and pupils and apprentices in secondary schools are entitled to the aid. Pupils and students are entitled to aid during all school days, except during their staying in holiday camps organised by the institution or its body competent for education.

Applicants

Educational institutions and bodies for the distribution of products to pupils in its territory, suppliers and organisations acting in the name and on behalf of one or more educational and training institutions established particularly for this purpose.

The amount of aid

The amount of aid for individual products' category is determined by currently valid regulation. Different amounts of aid exist for different categories of products.

The amount of aid is set by €/100 kg of products for an individual category of products.

Exchange rate

In conversions from EUR in the Slovenian tolar (SIT), the European Central Bank (ECB) exchange rate is applicable, valid on the first day the application refers to.
