MEASURES AND PURPOSE

a) Payment entitlements:

• Allocation of payment entitlements for eligible areas
• Payment of payment entitlements for eligible areas
• Trade with payment entitlements
• Allocation of payment entitlements from the national reserve

b) Crops specific payments:

• Direct payment for the utilised area under hops
• Aid for legumes
• Aid for energy crops
• Support for nuts production
• Support for the production of seed potato and potato in 100-meter isolation zone
• Additional payment for extensive farming of female animals
• Special bull and steer premium
• Sheep and goat premium
• Additional sheep and goat premium

BENEFICIARIES

Beneficiaries of payment entitlements, payment entitlements with license and payment entitlements for set-aside are those agricultural holdings, for which in 2007 their holders lodge a claim for the allocation of payment entitlements for eligible areas.

From 2008 on, payment entitlements shall only be allocated from the national reserve.

Beneficiaries of crop specific payments are holders of agricultural holdings who in 2007 lodge a multiple application and claims for crop-specific payments, and meet the criteria provided in legal bases.

HOW TO OBTAIN PAYMENTS

A detailed procedure of lodging multiple applications, submission of claims for the allocation of payment entitlements and the submission of claims for crop specific payments are provided in legal bases. Holders of agricultural holdings who have already lodged multiple applications in the last year, shall receive pre-printed multiple application forms and instructions for their completion at their home address.

According to decrees and regulations, agricultural holdings should keep a copy of lodged multiple applications, together with annexes and supporting documentation for minimum 4 years following the finality of legal decisions relating to claims.
