TASKS OF THE DEPARTMENT

  • Timely payment of all approved claims in accordance with EU and national legislation
  • Timely recovery of debts,
  • Keeping of debtor’s ledger
  • Maintenance of central register of clients. 

The following claims are paid for: direct payments for areas and animals, beekeeping aids, the Rural Development Plan of RS 2004-2006, Single Programming Document of RS 2004-2006, support following natural disasters, export refunds, intervention measures, structural measures for rural areas, and the pre-accession SAPARD programme. The Department is also responsible for the management and release of securities.
