The Technical Assistance Department is responsible for performing support activities with the purpose of ensuring smooth implementation of agricultural policy measures within the Direct Payments Section. The employees of the Technical Assistance Department are involved in the process of the implementation of agricultural policy measures for the whole period of their implementation, i.e. from the preparation and arrangement of the premises for the entry of claims to the transfer of the packages of beneficiaries' claims to a printer.

The tasks are as follows:

• Arrangement of the place for the entry of the data from applications;
• Preparation of the documentation for the data access;
• Preparation of forms and claims to be printed;
• Preparation of calls for completion and decisions for the transfer to a printer;
• Preparation and maintenance of the contents of the Direct Payments Department's web site;
• Management of testing the correctness of computer programmes operation.
