MISSION

The AAMRD is responsible for timely and correct allocation of payments to farmers and other beneficiaries of the EAGGF funds and some national aid measures. The basic mission of the AAMRD is effective, quick and accurate technical implementation of agricultural policy measures. Thus the AAMRD promotes the maintenance and development of Slovenian rural areas and strengthening of agricultural markets. The work of the AAMRD covers all fields directly or indirectly associated with agriculture and countryside.

VISION

By preparing and implementing a long-term plan of a systemic support to agriculture and its organisational development, the AAMRD intends to become a central cohesive element between EU and Slovenian institutions and beneficiaries in the field of agriculture. Besides integration and payment of funds, the AAMRD will place special emphasis on providing information, training and counselling to governmental and non-governmental organisations and companies in food-processing industry. The AAMRD will also function as a reference expert centre for countries of South-Eastern Europe.
